HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We've made it to HALLOWEEN! WOW-hasn't it just been a BLAST?! Thank you SO much for joining us as we hop along and countdown! (click HERE to be taken to Lisa Peter's Blog to begin) I will choose a winner for the TRICK-or-TREAT BAZZILL Bag (pictured below) this evening-so be sure you are a FABULOUS FRIEND (follower) and leave comments at each post, they're each an entry!

My daughter received this card from her Aunt Chrissy (my best friend and her God-mother) and I loved it! Of course I did really, it's Close To My Heart. I happen to have gotten this stamp set and yet yet to use it too-so I was extra inspired.

I created this one, once again using the AMAZING products from BAZZILL, particularly their SPOOKY and KOOKY line. *Note that ALL of the projects I've created from them this ENTIRE month are from the SAME original supplies I was sent* I switched around a few things, but you can see where the inspiration came from. I just ADORE these sweet owls and jumped on the opportunity to use the delightful crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam again! Don't you just LOVE the pleats too?! SOOOO FABULOUS, BAZZILL!

This card is also inspired from Chrissy's original-and HOW PERFECT is the witchy shoe paper?! CA-UTE! I may go back and color her striped tights-I over looked it. I added a BAZZILL 'edge'-and what do you think of the PIPE CLEANERS?! They were sitting there from the Kinder project-so they wound up on my card. I'm that girl-the one who uses whatever is within reach, even if it was just left on the kitchen island! ;) Sometimes I forget how much I LOVE stamping, especially Close To My Heart (I 'm a consultant for them). This was a Stamp-of-the-Month. FABULOUS!

This sweet little guy is an individually wrapped candy holding mummy box! I used actual Curad gauze and cut t to wrap. It was tied at the bottom and then inked up. I really enjoy googley-eyes, so I was excited to tuck them in here for him to see ;)

This is the box, opened up to reveal the Hershey nuggets. The EEK is stamped from an SU set designed just for these. The remaining three are wrapped from SPOOKY and KOOKY BAZZILL scraps.

I used a $1 stamp for the sentiment on the inside bottom of the box. You know I'm all about detail, so I like this little surprise there to be found as you eat the candy!

You may have noticed some of the background-it's a garland I was working on for Halloween. I want to add some die-cuts and some of the BAZZILL cardstock stickers to it and then hang it over my fireplace, NEXT Halloween!

I must tell you again that I'm really grateful for each of you that take the time to share in these hops and comment. I hope you've been inspired by the talented designers I'm honored to be among. Speaking of......I'm featured on the BAZZILL Blog today, amongst some unbelievable scrapbook SUPERSTARS like Kelly Goree, Mona, Amy Totty and MORE! Take the time to browse through there too-it's always so inspiring! You can hop along now to the Scraps to Treasure blog as we end the countdown. Technically, Raven's Birthday Hop ended yesterday, but it was chalk FULL of fun projects so if you missed it, be sure to hop through (your entry will still be eligible for MY giveaway until).

You have until 5:00pm Mountain Time TODAY to enter to win this TRICK-or-TREAT BAZZILL BAG! Each comment from the beginning of the countdown will be an entry. I really wish you a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN full of candy, fun and WICKED memories! MWAH!

13 Days of HALLOWEEN-Day 3!

When we moved from Kansas my BFF threw a surprise going away party for me. It was FABULOUS and since we started scrapbooking together-she recognized the importance of documentation and printed out cards for each of my guests to fill out, stating what they would miss most about me. My sister Brandis (and best friend) wrote....my GRILLED CHEESE! Yep-my combination of Texas Toast bread and Velveeta make my Signature sandwich the BEST around. So, when she recently visited, not only did I need to make them for her-I wanted to make them special for Halloween for my sweet nephews too. Alas-the JACK-O-LANTERN Grilled Cheese Sandwich!!!

I hand cut faces into the bread, AFTER buttering it, and then toasted then slowly. The cheese oozed into the cuts (now THAT sounds Halloween GROSS-lol) to darken in the faces creating a PERFECT and festive lunch! YUM!

Remember that this hop takes place EVERY day for the 13 days leading up to Halloween. Lisa Peters is our lovely hostess and you can start at her blog anytime. You can also catch up anytime to be eligible for the generous and FABULOUS prizes available too. You should arrive at my blog from my friend Amy's Blog each time and then hop on to Scraps to Treasures as well. You can click on any of their names to be taken to their blogs. For my first project I am sharing one of my candy creations from my 'Tricks and Treats' class at The Hen House Paperie. I handmade the template for this adorable Frankein box (that hides a package of M&M's). It's really simple, with hand drawn features and a wooden BINGO piece (turned upside down) for his nose. A couple of white ovals make the eye bases with cute black button eyeballs! I stole 2 actual screws from my scrubby's (scrapbook-hubby) tool box to accent the sides and added a couple layers of Liquid Glass to his randomly0hand cut hair for fun. He's also grunged up a bit with some black ink along the edges, because it's all about the details!

I've got several more treats for you in the upcoming days, including many more candy containers, layouts AND cards as well. Oh, and for my BLOG CANDY?! It's a paper crafters

Welcome to the 2nd Sketch Blog Hop-brought to you by the lovely Jennifer Restivo of Crafty Card Gallery. You can click on that link to be taken to the first stop, or you should be arriving here at my post as the last, from Kerri's Blog. The purpose of this hop is to showcase how many talented bloggers can make such different and beautiful creations based on one sketch. If you've never tried a sketch before-we hope you'll get inspired, get creative and give it a try!

I decided to make my card with a square base and used the UBER FABULOUS BAZZILL (that I'm OH-SO-IN-LOVE-WITH), accenting in purple with some more of that SCRUMPTIOUS crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam (that hop is also ongoing through Saturday for many chances to win some bundles-see my previous post).

It opens diagonally, as you can see here-with another cute little bat hiding inside on a green mat for writing.

Isn't is F-U-N?! I hadn't even thought to create such an interesting fold until I was inspired by Jennifer's sketch-there are always so many possibilities! Thank you for joining us today-I'll see you again soon for more Halloween, Hops and CANDY!!! MWAH!

Punkin' Lovin'

My baby sister Brayla had given me these photos of my sweet nephew Braxyn and they were just PERFECT for this because I HAD to use the Bazzill pre-made pumpkins you see here! Aren't the FABULOUS?! They're completely pre-made including the piecing AND the inking! I used the Spooky and Kooky papers again and really focused on the black and orange, with a bit of green to highlight.

The Pumpkin Carvin' journaling piece is cut from one of the papers and each of the little Jack-o-lanterns is from the coordinating cardstock stickers.

I used some of the die-cut borders again as well and a fun strip of light green CRINKLE RIBBON from my friend Julie at 3 Girl Jam. I added a few clear, hand-made dew drops for a touch of dimension (and because I LOVE embellishing) and this layout is album ready!

I'm working on a STUNNING card to share with you-along with more layouts and altered projects too. There will be a 13 day countdown Blog Hop to this wonderful holiday with lots of the fun stuff you've been seeing me use as PRIZES!
