POP-SPRING!

Spring is...SPRING-ing.  The official first day of Spring is March 19 (also my oldest' Birthday).  This month for Patches of Pink we are sharing Spring inspired projects with you.  To me, spring is pastel colors and BABIES!  All kinds of new life is born as the trees return and the birds chirp.  I think of sweet little bundles with light pink, yellow, light blue and green.

I created these baby rattles for a baby themed swap with my stamp group.  I used treat cups filled with spring M&M's with stamping, punching, bling and ribbon!

Happiness Awareness Month with Patches of Pink!

Did you know that August is HAPPINESS AWARENESS MONTH?! Well the Designers for Patches of Pink are each sharing with you a project with the theme of HAPPINESS-and YOU can join us! Patches of Pink is a fabulous source for inspiration and sharing your blog with others! I sure hope you'll play along!

This layout makes me happy! The colors make me happy, the paper makes me happy and I LOVE this photo of my beautiful daughter-it makes me super happy too!

The title letters are papered, inked and modge-podged with rub-ons and lots of fun trims.

I was just thrilled that the vibrancy and patterns coordinated so nicely, yet Aubrey still stands out in her elegant beauty.

These lace up brads are really fun and add such a neat touch. I stamped her name with the small chocolate alphabet stamp set from Close To My Heart (and LOVE that the name is CHOCOLATE)! I stamped the date as well and then the accent box there houses more detail from the title.

I hope that August brings you immense HAPPINESS my fabulous friends! Linking up your happy project with Patches of Pink will make me happy too! I look forward to seeing your creations! HUGS!

Patches of Pink July DT Post!

Hey there! Have you been creating in Red, White and Blue this week?! Well, the the Patches of Pink Design Team has done just that and we hope to bring you some summer fun and patriotic inspiration! Be sure to join us and submit your entry. You can click HERE to be taken to the POP site to participate. Let me share my projects with you.....

This is a 2 page layout documenting this 4th of July. I think this is a record turn around for scrapping photos-I've been creating like a mad woman this month! I picked up the sparkly papers at Michaels-they're by K and Company, as are the sparkly stars and sticker phrases and title. The others I bought at Scraps Galore with the borders and journaling piece from Reminisce.

We all coordinated for the festivities at the BBQ's with our beloved friends-so I had Brian capture a family photo to include.

My 2 good friends Milee and Kim-with good wine too! Aubrey stuck her head in with the girls!

This is a simple summer card made with We R products including this embossed tag.

This is another quick and easy card using ripped papers to make a flag and a bit of stamping too!

Thanks so much for stopping by and playing along with us. I just ADORE Patches of Pink and sharing all of our creativity! I can't wait to see what YOU create and link-up-I'll be sure to stop by and see it! MWAH!

POP DAY!

Have you been to PATCHES OF PINK?! It's an amazing little blog showcasing YOU! THere's always a fun challenge and link up.

Today we are focused on Fathers'd Day. This is a card I made for my husband. I found this die-cut and LOVED it. I added the coordinating papers and embellished with silver. A few pokes with my paper piercer and this is it!

Join us friends! ;)
