LOL. This is not my typical style, given. Here's the deal: My sweet friend Shirley is in ministry.....specifically, prison ministry. She volunteers at the women's correctional facility here and it was on her heart to encourage them by making cards for others-so she came to me. Creating on no budget, with a limited amount of supplies was the most challenging. They cannot have scissors, a paper trimmer, a piercer, etc. for safety reasons....so-this needed to be an easy card with supplies they can use-like ink, stamps and adhesive. She had been given a SU set with a coordinating punch, as well as a roller stamp. I donated the paper, brads and envelopes and made this design for her to do with the women for her ministry this month! Here's to hoping that the blessing of a card can carry through in ways beyond what we can even comprehend!
