WOW!

I am honored to have been recommended for a special class at Scraps Galore. A nurse working in oncology (Amy) began a group to help the female patients she deals with. In the past they have made a quilt and participated in other healing hobbies. They are now doing some 'Scrap Therapy' with me in a private class! Each month, about 10 ladies and their loved ones, gather at the store to create a project I have made for them. Our first month, we made Christmas cards. This month, I THOUGHT we were making Valentines. It turns out we'll be doing that NEXT month! LOL We made a mini-album with a 'Winter' theme. I brought hot chocolate and we had an AMAZING time. The Albuquerque Journal was there to document what it's all about too! I love that I have the opportunity to make a difference with my passion!

Here are 2 of the Valentine's we'll be doing in February.

I LOVE the little felt birds and L-O-V-E the Echo Park line-SO ME!

I was inspired by the silver envelope and this is what became of it.... The ribbon is red felt and the rose is one of those little ribbon ones they sell in bouquets for weddings!
I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the project we created Thursday-just feeling like sharing a little 'LOVE' today!
Creative blessings, Brynn
