UnBEARably FUN!

For my last Close To My Heart gathering I created this layout for our project. Normally, the creations aren't so intense, but this gathering was hosted by a friend of mine from Scraps Galore and she wanted it GREAT! She had made a large, standing bear and I had her pattern (before I lost pieces). I wanted the bear copming up out of something and Jean suggested a fence! I found just the righ one on the 'Songbird' Cricut Cartridge. I cut the bird off the top, improvised the bear and used the 'Cherry-O' paper line from Close To My Heart (flairandfrills.myctmh.com)! I added extensive detail with inking, stamping, paper piecing, paper piercing, liquid glass and MORE!

This is the bear! :) She has popped accents for emphasis, inking and hand drawn details.

These are stamped accent pieces using the 'Cherish the Moment' stamp set.

This shows the stamping and piercing detail and liquid glass cherries.

It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun. Everyone seemed to really love it and Linda met her gathering goals as well!
Remember that I'd love to hear from you! My Blog Candy '100 Followers' contest will begin soon! Watch for the specifics ;) Creative blessings, ~Brynn

  1. Your right on two counts. It's unbearably cute indeed! And your also right in the fact that it was alot of work --- look at all that detail! Its a beautiful layout.
