I've cranked up the A/C and 'Jingle Bells' is playing-let's share some more holiday inspiration for another Christmas in July Blog Hop (I am in 2 this weekend, Fridays post began the other one).
A special thank you to the one and only Nicolette for hosting this Blog Hop for us. She puts together AMAZING groups and organizes hops almost monthly! If you are not already familiar with her and following, click HERE to be taken to her blog to do so, or begin this one! You should be arriving here from Gina's Blog today.
I am sharing more easy yet FABULOUS gift ideas with you. These are 2 that I handed out and held class for this last Holiday season. I used Echo Park's Christmas line for the chocolates and stamped the background for the Reindeer Food. I'll tell you more with the photos.
These are perfectly created with SCRAPS, you only need a bit of paper for each. The chocolates can be purchased at Wal-Mart, they're Hershey nuggets. Measure and score the papers to wrap them and then make a little tray to slide into a clear sleeve.
Add a bag topper and jazz it up with PUNCHES, stamps and coordinating stickers for elegant ease! These are just darling for extra friends, acquaintances and other times you need a small gift to give.
REINDEER FOOD! This is SO fun to make and can easily be created with kids too!

The contents are oatmeal and cheerios with chunky red and green glitter. I wanted the background to seem magical so I stamped sparkles and then sprayed it with home-made shimmer spray. The edges are inked in green with a contrasting red banner that I printed on my computer in multiples. The cute little reindeer were cut from the Cricut and accented adoringly with a red sequin for the nose!!
I doubled up a piece of plain twine/hemp around the topper for a bit of fun as well.

There is a poem on the back (that I forgot to photograph) also printed on red. I rounded the corners of it and tore across the bottom then sprayed it to shimmer as well.
This is what it reads (my personal version),
"Make a wish and close your eyes tight,
Then sprinkle this on your lawn at night.
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home."
So fun, huh?!
I am offering a fun Christmas themed prize package for my BLOG CANDY today vaued at over $20! I'd really like you to be one of my Fabulous Friends (followers) and then leave a comment here on this post (and the other if you'd like). I will choose a winner randomly on the 26th and announce the name here on my blog! I'm so glad that you are here with us today hopping along! Carol will be your next stop.
