RIBBIT! It's NOT the bunny hopping around here today!
Thanks for joining me in the TOADALLY FROGS Blog Hop brought to you by Karel J! If you're not here from Monica at Scraps To Treasures, you can start at the beginning by clicking HERE.
This card was a lot of fun to make using the Bazzill 'Grandma's Feathr Bed' line and a few of their goodies. The hardest part was deciding which frog to cut! I chose this quirky one from the 'Sweethearts' cartridge. Pink By Design's 'Hippity, Hoppity, Happy' stamp was PERFECT for the sentiment! I used the seam of a yellow shirt for the middle and finished with a bit of home-made shimmer spray!
For my BLOG CANDY today, I am offering a prize package from the uber awesome Quick Quotes Scrapbook Company. They have some great new lines and embellishments out and I'll get ya some goodies if you follow me and leave a comment here (as always, you receive double the chance if you also have my blinky), telling me your funny frog story (we've all got one)! (I often forget to photo my candy, but rest assured, IT IS GOOD)! I'll choose a winner and announce it here on Monday morning.
Now it's time for you to CROAK along to Kristel's (but come back by anytime)!
Enjoy-and have a HIPPITY, HOPPITY, HAPPY DAY!
So cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love that frog cut and the papers you picked to cut him out of!

ReplyDeleteone evening, in junior high, my i was walking with my friend to her house for a sleepover and we came across a dead frog on the road.. we felt so bad for it that we picked it up with the end of my hairbrush and we buried it in her yard LOL!

Cute card, but you probably don't want to hear my frog story, it's kinda icky and not for the faint of heart. Let's leave it at 'mowing the yard'...and needless to say I refused to mow ever again much to my father's dismay, I was rather adamant about it!! lol I still think of it whenever I mow, even now, 40 years later, can we say traumatic?
ReplyDeletePretty card, loving all that sparkle, tfs.

I'm a follower. I love that happy looking frog and that sentiment is ideal for it!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of frogs around here. Not live. Ornamental ones. We owned a restaurant that we called The Smiling Frog and when we had to close it down, we kept some of the decor items we had purchased for it. They remind me of that chapter of our lives and also to Fully Rely On God.
Love your project and the sentiment is great! This hop has been so much fun!
ReplyDeleteToadily charming! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYour card is super cute. Thanks for sharing. Happy Easter.

Love your card! I'm a new follower and do have a funny frog story. When we were kids my uncle had a pet frog and my sister was holding it and it started to pee. I never saw my sister stand so still in all her life! It still makes me smile.

Love the card.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child I would carry the frogs from under our rose bush to my wading pool so they could swim.
Frogtastic!!!TFS and have a blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteCute card! One night I was cleaning out my car and I kept hearing this loud thump noise, I kept looking around but didn't see anything. I kept hearing it so I slowly started walking around my car and there was a very large frog hopping up and down bumping into my garage door! Thanks for the chance abusybee24atcoxdotnet
ReplyDeletecute card, my frog story, which I already posted on another blog, was that I caught frogs as a little girl. i got a wart on my hand and my grandma decided to do some voodoo under a full moon to get rid of it and it worked. tfs Tami

I'm a new follower. I just love your frog so cute. Thanks for sharing. I've got tons of frog stories. My first frog was cuaght by my grandpa at his house and he used a paitbrush to get it into the coffee jar.... he told me you use the paint brush and tap it on it's a$$....yep he said that to a 9 year old that's my grandpa .... he's long passed but it's a great memory of him anyway.
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance to win.

Toadily cute frog. When I was young my GF & I collected frogs & toads one summer to keep as pets. We found a big fat toad on our way home from school but had no way to carry him. We emptied out my GF's lunch box & put him in it. Of course it was many, many years later before we told her mom what we'd put in her lunch box. lol (I'm already a follower). TFS!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute froggie card!! I dont really have a funny frog story but when my grandchildren visit, they like to take a walk along the pond that is next to our home because as we walk, the frogs croak and jump into the water! They love scaring them!
