I created this layout solely for the purpose of entering a contest through The Greeting Farm! I fell in love with their stamps-especially using Copic markers! And yes-I made my son pose for this photo just for the layout! LOL I LOVE how it turned out!
The paper is die cut and super fun! I also used wood paper-it's ACTUAL wood! I 'reffled' it on the mat too. We carry all of the papers at Scraps Galore.
I used the Cricut cartridge 'Pooh Font' for all of the wording. I used the Cricut marker for the 'Let ME' and accented the wood letters with a brown marker. I inked the edges with Quick Quotes chalk ink 'Mocha Momma!' My 9-year-old thought we should add ACTUAL screws so there they are on the photo mat.
I created screw like posts for the sign. I used a Sharpie on my CTMH pewter brads! I had a lot of fun with 'Handy Ian.' He's a digital stamp! I used my Copics and then added some freckles and here it is!!
The contest ends tomorrow. I'll keep ya posted. I head out at 6am in the morning for the 'Retreat of Good Fortune' in Chama, New Mexico hosted by the always delightful ladies from Heart 2 Heart Scrapbooking in Farmington. I'll see you Sunday!
